The aromas are indeed stupefying — heady, and floral, with Kirsch and Framboise, then violets, and this mineral-tinged camphor note. The fruits are inky, ripe, and exceptionally luscious — blackberries, and raspberries, with blueberries, then plums, all accented with spice box notes of star anise, dried mint, cocoa powder, and delicate pencil shavings. It’s gorgeously layered, powerful, and surreal in its complexity…I never tasted this on release, but HOT DANG has it ever come together like Aerosmith covering The Beatles. To get this for OVER $125 LESS than the winery price is mind-melting stuff, my friends! Bad news? We BARELY have enough to share — so grab a lot and thank me later!
