Emeritus Vineyards Pinot Noir Hallberg Ranch Vineyard Russian River Valley 2022 (Half Bottle 375mL)

Emeritus Vineyards Pinot Noir Hallberg Ranch Vineyard Russian River Valley 2022 (Half Bottle 375mL)
Wowza, we are COOKING! How’s this for an intermezzo?! 94 POINTS! And all for UNDER $13!
This is NOT a drill! Emeritus’ beloved Hallberg Ranch Pinot Noir is back for another go – still just ludicrously priced — we’re talking about UNDER $13!!!! If you missed the Reserve earlier today — consider this the best consolation prize EVER — even beating out Christopher Nolan being handed The Batman trilogy as a consolation for a last-minute snub with Troy. Yeah…THAT’s the kind of EPIC I am offering you here today!!!
The Hallberg Ranch stands as one of my very favorite parcels in all of Russian River — an old apple and peach orchard from Prohibition until the year 2000 that was originally used for winemaking back in the late 1800s. Emeritus founder, Brice Cutrer Jones (Sonoma-Cutrer winery), started this project just after selling off his stake in Sonoma-Cutrer, and in next to no time at all, this fabulous estate has been hailed as "one of the Russian River's most accomplished Pinot Noir producers" by Tom Hyland of Forbes. Scores of Sonoma’s best producers clamor for this fruit — from Gary Farrell, to Etude, Joseph Jewell, and Martin Ray…Hallberg has the pedigree you’re looking for!!!
This 94 POINT 2022 vintage is all about clonal blending at its finest…ELEVEN clones, from the best plots across the 110-acre parcel, handled delicately, blended thoughtfully, and the result is everything you LOVE about great Russian River Pinot Noir. The deep berry component — all raspberries and cranberries at first, then black cherries, and even a tart and tannic bite of salted pomegranate to round it all out. The wild coastal wilderness of West Sonoma makes its impact here, too — with camphor, and redwood, pine needles, and fresh shiitake mushrooms. It’s juicy, and expansive, with pleasure bursting out the seams. Easily competes (and outclasses) some $100++ Russian River Pinots that have the big names and long waitlists (you know who they are.) At our RIDONKULOUS price?! This is a no-brainer, folks.
While it lasts!!!
**All your half-bottle purchases from today will be fulfilled from our West Coast warehouse. We’ll need a few weeks to get them all packed and shipped out, but we promise these half-sized heroes will be worth the wait!**
