Nearly 700 years of accumulated knowledge, reverence, and devotion to the Côte d'Or, now poured across 100+ hectares of prime terroir in six estate domaines. As for "Les Chabiots" specifically? The name is believed to derive from "caboche" — a Burgundian word rooted in the Latin for "head" — a reference to the enormous stone blocks, shaped like heads, buried 40 to 60 centimeters beneath this very vineyard's shallow soils.
